1. Who we are
Clippik AI ("Clippik", "we", "us") is a video clipping and publishing service available at clippik.amletnet.ddns.net. Contact us at: hello@clippik.ai or via Telegram @dfdgjfkgj.
2. YouTube API Services
Clippik uses YouTube API Services to authenticate users with their Google account and to upload video clips to their YouTube channel on their behalf. By using Clippik you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Data we access and collect
When you connect your Google / YouTube account we access:
- Your Google account email address and display name (for identification).
- An OAuth 2.0 access token and refresh token that grant permission to upload videos to your YouTube channel.
- Basic YouTube channel information (channel name, ID) to display in the interface.
When you use the service we also collect:
- Uploaded video files and the processed clips derived from them — stored temporarily on our server.
- Usage data (number of clips created, publication history) to show you your personal statistics.
- A session cookie (
session) placed in your browser to keep you logged in.
4. How we use your data
- To authenticate you and maintain your login session.
- To upload videos and clips to YouTube on your explicit instruction.
- To display your channel information and publication history inside Clippik.
- To generate AI-assisted titles, descriptions and clip timestamps (text is sent to our LLM API provider; video data is not).
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the Clippik service.
5. Third-party services
We work with the following third parties:
- Google LLC — OAuth authentication and YouTube Data API v3. Google Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI / DeepSeek — LLM API used for generating titles, descriptions and identifying engaging moments in transcript text (no video is sent).
We do not currently serve third-party advertisements on Clippik.
6. Cookies and local storage
Clippik uses:
- A signed session cookie (HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax) to keep you logged in.
- localStorage on your device to remember your language preference and UI settings (no personal data, no tracking).
No third-party tracking cookies are used.
7. Data retention and deletion
Uploaded video files and generated clips are stored on our server for up to 30 days after creation and are then automatically deleted. You can delete a clip at any time from the Clips page.
To delete your account and all associated data (including stored OAuth tokens), email us at hello@clippik.ai with the subject "Delete my account". We will complete the deletion within 7 business days.
OAuth tokens stored by Clippik (access token + refresh token) are used solely to upload videos on your behalf. You can revoke Clippik's access to your Google account at any time via the Google Account Connections page. Revoking access will immediately prevent Clippik from uploading to your channel.
8. API Data refresh and deletion schedule
YouTube API Data (OAuth tokens) is:
- Refreshed automatically by the OAuth library when the access token expires (every ~60 minutes) — only while the user has an active session and is performing an upload.
- Deleted immediately when the user disconnects their YouTube account from Settings, or upon account deletion request.
9. Security
OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in our PostgreSQL database. All traffic between your browser and Clippik is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). We do not log OAuth tokens in application logs.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Clippik after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
